NEW 10-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

All Transit engines now deliver their power through an advanced 10-speed automatic transmission. Compared with the 6-speed it replaces, the 10-speed delivers improved overall performance, with enhanced acceleration at the low and mid ranges of the power band. Features include wide-span gear spacing coupled with drag-reduction actions plus three overdrive gears.

RANGE OF GVW AND PAYLOAD RATINGS

Configure a Transit to match your business needs across a wide range of gross vehicle weight and payload ratings in single- and dual-rear-wheel models. GVWRs range from 8,670 lbs. to 10,360 lbs. Maximum payloads less body weight are 2,640 lbs. and 4,530 lbs.

ALL-WHEEL DRIVE

The new available All-Wheel-Drive System is not only designed to enhance handling and maximize traction. It was integrated into the vehicle’s design to ensure it didn’t raise the load floor or seat height, making it as easy to enter and exit as our standard model. Great news for drivers who are in and out of their vehicles a lot during the work day.
