The Ford Mustang is a well-established muscle car, and the 2020 model does not disappoint. As a coupe, shoppers get to pick from five trims, while the convertible is available only in the EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, and GT Premium. One of the more surprising elements of this model is the base engine: a whopping 310-horsepower, turbocharged 2.3-liter, four-cylinder engine. A six-speed manual transmission, limited-slip rear differential (manual only), and an electronic line-lock for burnouts (track only) get included as well. For more prowess, add the High-Performance package that enhances the horsepower to 330, larger brakes with four-piston calipers, a shorter differential ratio, a larger radiator, track-oriented suspension tuning, and more for an athletic ride. GT cranks up the strength of the Mustang to 460 horsepower with a 5.0-liter V8, and a GT Performance package provides an upgraded suspension, tires, and brakes on the GT Premium trim. Finally, Bullitt comes with a 480-horsepower V8 and is generally similar to the GT, except for a few exterior aesthetic elements. Many features come standard on the base trim for drivers' convenience, such as a 4.2-inch center display screen, remote start, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and remote services to let you check on your Mustang via a smartphone app. Climbing up the trim ladder, drivers will find standard elements such as smartphone integration, an eight-inch touchscreen, and leather upholstery. Optional components are available, too: a digital gauge cluster, heated steering wheel, blind-spot monitoring, and plenty of stylish accents.
