For years, Ford has been a stand-alone brand that offers several commercial vehicles. Models available for 2016 continue to provide innovative solutions for the busy worker and company owner. The Transit Van, Transit Connect Van and Wagon, and F-250 Super Duty pickup are available in a multitude of configurations. While standard features may seem bare, their purpose is to offer practicality. Luckily, many optional components and packages are available as well. The five or seven-seater Transit Connect Wagon comes in three distinct trims. Buyers have their pick between the Transit Van and the Transit Connect Van if looking to carry equipment on and off the worksite. The notable difference between the two is their prowess under the hood. While the Transit Van comes equipped with a 3.7-liter V6, a turbocharged 3.2-liter diesel five-cylinder, or a 3.5-liter V6, the Transit Connect Van gets a fuel-efficient 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine or an optional turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder. As such, the Transit Connect Van can only provide limited hauling capabilities (up to 1,500 pounds versus 2,740-4,560 pounds). Lastly, the F-250 Super Duty, which includes the F-350 and F-450, is gloriously powerful. These three trims can tow up to 15,900-16,600 pounds if correctly equipped and are available with either a short or long bed, and either a regular or crew cab.
